This is the perfect opportunity to hear first-hand accounts from successful entrepreneurs. The Bettany Centre Entrepreneurship Speaker Series gives you the chance to hear from a variety of entrepreneurs from across a range of industries.
The speakers will give you an insight in to their journey, identifying their successes and any mistakes that they may have made along their way. You will also be given the opportunity to ask questions, allowing you to delve even further in to the backstory of these well-established entrepreneurs.
Attending these events will provide you with a great chance to network with like-minded individuals who share your passion for entrepreneurship.
The events are entirely free of charge and refreshments are supplied (face-to-face events only).
All of our Speaker Series events take place at 18:00 on Thursday evenings in November and February.
Adam Nemenyi – Thursday 10 February 2022
Adam is CEO and Founder of Aerospares 2000 Ltd, a leading aftermarket supplier of aircraft spare-parts based in Watford. After graduating from business school, Adam set about establishing a company that identified opportunities and delivered genuine added value within an already crowded marketplace.
The company is entrusted by over 350 of the world’s leading airlines, cargo operators, leasing companies and MRO’s to provide them with round the clock 24/7 Aircraft On Ground (AOG) spares support for anything from an engine starter to an escape slide. Along its journey, Aerospares 2000 has received several awards recognising its industry-leading service and quality levels including the prestigious Queen’s Award for International Trade.
As a two-time participant on the Cranfield Business Growth Programme, Adam used the skills learnt whilst on the course to successfully grow the business to a revenue of $44m in 2019 with an EBITDA exceeding $11m which culminated in a multi-million-dollar acquisition by an American private equity firm in December 2019.
Adam has a life-long passion for all things aviation related and is a qualified private pilot. He earned a BSc. in Business from Manchester Metropolitan University and is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
