Our values

Infographic showing Cranfield's four core values

Our shared, stated values help to define who we are and underpin everything we do.

Each of our four values are supported by a high-level statement and framework to guide the way we behave and shape our decisions.

Dr Iva Chianella

I came to Cranfield from Italy to do my PhD, and enjoyed it so much that I haven’t left. I joined as a lecturer, then became a senior lecturer and attracted funding to build a research team and fund PhD students. Working part-time means I can still enjoy my job and find an equilibrium between being a mum and still having my career.
