Course details
The Cranfield Senior Leader Apprenticeship: Management and Leadership PgDip consists of 11 modules that are studied over a 15-month period through one week of teaching each quarter. During this time, students build their portfolio of work-based evidence with support from their employer and their Cranfield Apprenticeship Tutor. Students also have peer coaching alongside their studies. This concludes with an End-Point Assessment (EPA), completed over a five-month period, which includes the student’s Strategic Business Proposal, supported by their employer.
Following successful completion of the Cranfield Senior Leader Apprenticeship: Management and Leadership PgDip (Part I), students have the option to progress onto the Management and Leadership MSc, which involves a further six-month period of study and includes an additional compulsory module, research preparation and an organisation-based or relevant research project (Part II).
This programme is delivered partly live online and partly face-to-face so that we can widen participation in education, provide learners with additional flexibility in learning, reduce carbon footprint and still offer the opportunity to experience learning on the Cranfield campus. This is important so that cohorts can engage with each other, meet academics and business practitioners and develop long-lasting networks.
