Over the last 10 years, Priscilla Schelp has had an extensive global career finding innovative approaches to safeguard large listed companies, SMEs, start-ups and NGOs from risks and disasters e.g. with PwC and KPMG Germany and Singapore. Priscilla is about to complete her Doctorate. She holds a BA in Logistics and an MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
How do Disaster-Induced Supply Chain Disruptions Affect Firm Performance?
In her research, Priscilla utilised a novel statistical approach to analyse and model the effects of different disasters on firm financial performance. The research evaluates how supply chain disruptions and other damages caused by natural catastrophes, major accidents, terrorist attacks and political uncertainties affect stock prices with novel advanced statistical methods.
