How to get involved on social media

We would love to see your photos and videos of you, your friends and family watching your graduation event on the day. Please share them with us via our social media channels, using #CranfieldGrad and tagging @cranfielduni on Instagram so that we can repost! We’ve also made some story templates for you and your friends and family to use, as well as an editable ‘Supporters Card’, that your loved ones can edit with their messages of congratulations and share on their social channels. You can download these using the links below.

What do the events include?

We will be broadcasting a graduation video specially created for your area of study. These videos will include speeches from key University staff, including a welcome from our Chancellor.

After the speeches, you can view a roll-call of graduates, these will appear alphabetically by course. For Defence and Security MoD programmes there is no graduate roll-call, your celebration video is a message from our Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor and Major General Roe.

When, how will I receive my graduation clip?

The StageClip portal is now closed for personalisation of clips but graduates will have a clip with their name and course displayed within the roll-call after the speeches.

You will also be sent your individual clip direct from StageClip on graduation day – it will be sent to the same email that you have been contacted on by us with our graduation emails.

How do I connect with my classmates/tutors, how can my family watch?

As we approach graduation day we will be busy on social media connecting with you and helping to share details of how you can join in, so please keep an eye on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and the hashtag #CranfieldGrad, as well as looking out for emails from us with all the details.

I am a prize winner, how will I be notified?

Our Student and Academic Support teams have worked with prize sponsors to administer and notify graduates who have been successful.

Prize winner names will be published on the day of your celebration.

How do I access my alumni services?

As a Cranfield graduate, you are part of a global community of over 65,000 friends who call 169 countries home.

Your alumni portal is available to you now, so there's no need to wait until after graduation day. If you have any questions regarding your alumni portal access or account, or have problems logging in, please contact the alumni team at

Can I attend graduation 2021?

Yes! We are inviting graduates and their guests to return to Cranfield for their graduation ceremony in 2021 and we will provide further details in the coming months. We very much look forward to seeing you and your guests to celebrate next summer.
