This short course provides insights on cutting-edge research into energy infrastructure systems, exclusively tailored to the needs of the energy insurance sector. 

Over a two-day period, this short course will showcase Cranfield University’s research work under our Energy theme. We offer insights from leading experts in energy systems through to guided and informative tours of our demonstrator sites and test facilities to see some of the new technologies in action.

Course structure

This is a two-day course. Overnight accommodation and the evening networking meal is included.

The course is intended to be practical and includes guided and informed tours of our demonstrator facilities.
 

What you will learn

The aim of this short course is to demonstrate the latest technologies and enable attendees to use that knowledge to better understand and even visualise the systems they are engaging with.

As a result of the course, delegates will be aware of the benefits and issues as well as the research agendas around the core advances in energy systems research. The delegates will have access to our unique world leading facilities and will be taught in an environment specific for their sector.

Location and travel

Cranfield University is situated in Bedfordshire close to the border with Buckinghamshire. The University is located almost midway between the towns of Bedford and Milton Keynes and is conveniently situated between junctions 13 and 14 of the M1.
