Cranfield Economics faculty teach across a number of different courses, including Masters, MBA and PhD programmes.
Cranfield School of Management will welcome its third cohort of banking professionals in March 2021 onto its MSc programme in Retail and Digital Banking, having been set up in 2018.
This part-time course is the UK’s first master’s-level apprenticeship for Senior Investment/Commercial Banking Professionals (Level 7), and is fully funded from the Apprenticeship Levy.
This course has been designed in consultation with senior banking practitioners, academic experts and the Chartered Banker Institute, reinforcing its relevance to the modern financial world. Our faculty are also supported by a team of international visiting industry speakers and professors who bring the latest thinking and best practice into the classroom.
At a time when banks and banking are being shaped by new technology, the launch of Cranfield’s new MSc, in partnership with Metro Bank and the Chartered Banker Institute, couldn’t be timelier. Future generations of banking leaders need to develop their professional expertise in a wider range of fields than ever before, including banking, technology, management and leadership.
The new MSc in Retail and Digital Banking will help Metro Bank’s future leaders – and many more – develop and demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to shape the future of banking. We are, therefore, delighted to accredit the programme and look forward to welcoming those who successfully complete it to our rapidly growing, global family of Chartered Bankers.
We support our colleagues’ learning and development so they’re able to provide the very best banking experience for our customers and the communities we serve. Feedback received from our colleagues that have taken part in the Cranfield programme has been incredibly positive, it’s fantastic to see them excelling in their roles while gaining such a prestigious master’s qualification. Since joining the course, many have received well-deserved promotions and continue to grow professionally.
