The first part comprises 14 core management modules, including a consultancy skills module and a group consultancy project. In the second part, you will take a further three core modules including an International Business Assignment. You will then choose seven elective modules, which includes the option to complete an internship or company-based project. Leadership development and career development activities run throughout the programme.

Knowledge of foreign languages plays a vital part in promoting communication, successfully establishing contacts in the international marketplace, and enhancing career opportunities.
We are delighted to offer all our dual-degree students an opportunity to acquire a working knowledge of a second commercially useful language to broaden their career prospects. Focusing on spoken rather than written skills, languages are offered at the Beginners or Intermediate level in Business French and Spanish. By the end of the course, you will understand and hold simple conversations with a business edge, and following an internal assessment, you will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance.

Internship, Group Project and Individual Project
Internship
An internship can be a valuable opportunity to help you on your career development journey. The Careers Team at Cranfield work closely with an ever-growing network of businesses to support internships, helping our MBA candidates explore new industries and opportunities. As many of the MBA internship application deadlines are early in year, we encourage candidates to engage early with our careers service to make the most of these opportunities.
For those who are seeking alternative career paths that do not require an internship, the programme is flexible to enable you to focus on other areas such as entrepreneurship. We also offer an International Business Assignment - a global project undertaken in some of the most exciting economies in the world, designed to deepen your understanding of the impact of culture on business practice.
International Business Assignment
For those who are seeking alternative career paths that do not require an internship, the programme is flexible to enable you to focus on other areas such as entrepreneurship. We also offer an International Business Assignment – a global project undertaken in some of the most exciting economies in the world, designed to deepen your understanding of the impact of culture on business practice.
This project is run in conjunction with Cranfield’s Executive MBA candidates, which provides further option to expand your network and deepen your business exposure. For the 2021/22 MBA and EMBA cohorts, the IBA took over 75 students to Amsterdam, Berlin and Copenhagen in early summer.
Group project
The programme includes a compulsory consultancy project. Working in small groups, you will apply what you have learnt in your core and elective modules to the project. You will help an organisation to tackle a contemporary challenge, researching the problem, analysing data and making recommendations for action.
Individual project
Internships and company-based projects allow you to apply your learning in a real business environment, get experience in a sector of interest, gain international exposure and can support your career progression.
