Why did you choose Cranfield?

Before studying for an MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Vishnu was working as an Associate Consultant with Infosys Limited, a technology and consulting company based at Bangalore, India.

Having worked in supply chain technology development for three years, and solutions consulting for one, Vishnu understood the importance of having a formal extensive study of supply chain concepts and wished to gain further insight into the day-to-day operations in order to enhance his knowledge and raise his career to the next level.

Vishnu had three main reasons for choosing Cranfield:

• The course content was extensive and covered all the aspects of supply chain management
• The course duration of one year would enable him to get back to the industry much faster
• The program is highly reputable in the industry.

What was Cranfield's impact

For Vishnu, each day was a great learning experience. Being away from home with different people, food, and languages was a new and rewarding experience. Living in Cranfield was like being in a global village.

An important skill that he had gained from his time at Cranfield was time management and task prioritisation. It had helped Vishnu to understand his strengths and weaknesses and to develop himself fully.

The knowledge, exposure and experience Vishnu has gained throughout the MSc programme continues to have significant impact on his personal and professional life, and immediately after completion of the course he received an offer from Baxter Healthcare Limited in their supply chain team. He is now working as a Supply Chain analyst based at Thetford in UK.
