Why did you choose Cranfield?

Tao Fu completed his first degree in logistics in China. He then decided, following advice from his professors, that he wanted to study for a masters in logistics at a top overseas business school. He chose Cranfield because it was a postgraduate university and he felt that spending a year in a mature academic environment would allow him to focus on his studies. He also liked the idea of studying with professionals from different countries, cultures and backgrounds so that he could learn from their diverse industry experience. Finally, Tao liked the fact that Cranfield offered both an innovative and practical approach to learning, with strong connections to logistics businesses, which he believed would support his career development.

What was Cranfield's impact

During his time at Cranfield School of Management, Tao undertook a three-month internship at Amazon, where he completed his dissertation within, and gained an insight into, the workings of a Fortune Global 500 Enterprise. Throughout his internship, Tao received support from his tutors and classmates, and by applying what he had learned from his time studying Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Cranfield, he was able to provide Amazon with innovative and feasible business solutions. As a result, and with support from the School's Career Development Service, Tao obtained a management position within Amazon.
