Why did you choose Cranfield?

Prior to applying to Cranfield, Marc was working for Deloitte UK as a Management Consultant, running projects across the public and private sectors, and especially the banking industry. He had worked on a number of supply chain and procurement projects at Deloitte and could see the real value they bought to the organisations he was working with, and was inspired to learn more in this field.

Marc wanted to make the transition from a consultancy and project management background into supply chain management at the same time as moving to New Zealand, and senior colleagues recommended Cranfield to him as a leader in this field, with a globally recognised brand in logistics and supply chain management.

Marc’s decision to join Cranfield School of Management was therefore based on brand visibility, as well as on the fact the lecturers in logistics and supply chain management had held senior positions in industry and continued to engage with industry through research and consultancy. 

What was Cranfield's impact

The Cranfield MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management enabled Marc to make the transition from management consultancy to the logistics and supply chain industry. He moved to New Zealand and now works as a Commercial Procurement Manager for Westpac New Zealand. He says that his Cranfield master's programme repaid its costs within two years.
