The technology and business world are hotly anticipating the huge impact that large-scale rollout of commercial Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), aka drones, will have on industries like logistics, delivery, emergency services and urban air mobility.

The thought leadership report developed by Cranfield University experts in collaboration with Inmarsat (global satellite communications provider) discusses UAVs' potential, possibilities, and projections.  The report captures the UAVs commercial advantage in Telecom, Logistics and Farming sectors.  Following the quantification of UAVs' green impact, the report showcases sustainability benefits and societal influences on humanitarian and medical aid.  The report concludes with a discussion on challenges associated with regulations and safety and future transformative opportunities for UAVs.
