The CSA is run by a team of elected students and supported by a small team of staff. The aim of the CSA is to support and represent Cranfield University students, promote student welfare and organise social, cultural and sporting activities. Together with support from current students, the CSA student officers and school representatives also aim to ensure all students are provided with the support and services they need.
Throughout the year, the CSA organises regular entertainment including freshers' and graduation events, live bands, discos and the President's Ball. The CSA also organises trips to places of interest around the country, according to the demand from members.
At the Cranfield campus, the CSA bar serves a range of beers, wines, spirits and alcohol-free drinks, and is your centre for entertainment. Sports and other big events are regularly shown on the big-screen TV, and if you're looking for something to eat, the café serves hot food throughout the day, as well as takeaway meals. In addition, the CSA shop sells a wide range of stationery for your academic needs as well as offering Cranfield University branded gifts and memorabilia.
There are a range of social events held at Cranfield throughout the year, like the Cranstock music festival which is organised by full-time MBA students.
