You can cycle to the campus on the dedicated cycle paths in 10 minutes, arrive by Uno bus in 10-15 minutes or walk in 35 minutes. The Uno bus will also connect you to Bedford and Milton Keynes, and their fast train connections to London.

It offers a wide range of amenities, including a supermarket, several takeaway restaurants, two pubs, a hairdresser's and even its own football club! There is also a doctor’s surgery, pharmacy and dental practice. Cranfield has three public parks, one of which has a multi-use games area.
The surrounding area, in addition to nearby Bedford and Milton Keynes, offers further accommodation and leisure options. Therefore, you may also want to consider accommodation options in local villages such as Marston Moretaine, Lower Shelton, North Crawley and Wootton.
London Luton Airport is around 25 miles from Cranfield and accessible via bus or train services from Milton Keynes or Bedford. Milton Keynes and Bedford also have good transport links with several airports slightly further afield, including London Heathrow, London Stansted, London Gatwick and Birmingham.
