KIC London offers preparation programmes for those who do not meet our direct entry requirements. Students who study the Pre-Master's, specialising in either Business, Science or Engineering, can then progress directly to Cranfield. KIC London con offer you additional English language and academic skills preparation as part of your Pre-Master’s. On completion of the course to the required grade and conditions stipulated in your offer letter, you are guaranteed progression to Cranfield University.

The Pre-Master’s course is for international students who wish to study one of Cranfield's Masters courses but require some additional support to meet the required standard.

Upon successful completion of the Pre-Master’s course to the required level, students are guaranteed entry to a postgraduate master’s degree at Cranfield University.

Available to students who wish to specialise in a wide range of subjects including Business, Science and Engineering. KIC London provides additional academic support to students before they start their Master's degree. Two pathways are offered:

• Pre-Master’s in Business, Law and Social Sciences
• Pre-Master’s in Science and Engineering

The Pre-Master’s comprises three key elements:

• core academic skills modules,
• subject modules,
• English for academic study.

The academic entry requirements to enter a Pre-Master’s course is an undergraduate degree or equivalent, with specific grades required varying from college to college

The Pre-Doctorate course provides specialist modules that equip international students with a broad set of academic and research skills needed for a doctoral degree at Cranfield University. It is taught at KIC London.

Students on the Pre-Doctorate not only develop transferable skills and language abilities; they also benefit from Kaplan’s expert academic counselling. This will help them decide on the doctoral degree area at Cranfield University that is right for their needs.

Doctoral-level students are guaranteed an interview with the University where research areas match, upon which they may be offered a place of study.

Students are taught in small classes and benefit from being part of a culturally diverse community. They are also assigned a Learning Support Tutor to assist with all of their learning needs, and who will help them adjust to the demands of the British education system.

Also, there is no charge for applying directly to KIC London and the process is fast. Once Kaplan receives the completed application form they will make an admissions decision within just two working days.

Kaplan will provide you with useful pre-arrival information to help you get ready for your studies even before you arrive. In addition, KIC London has a dedicated Student Services team, which can pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your accommodation. The team also offers a whole range of support services during your Pre-Master’s course.
