• Job title Quality Management System Consultant
  • CourseMSc Quality Management in Scientific Research and Development, 2013 , 2013

Why did you choose Cranfield?

At the time of applying for the course I had been appointed to a new position as manager for a small team responsible for quality management systems and computer system validation in the non-clinical section of a large Danish pharmaceutical company. The course seemed highly relevant to the new position, and appeared to offer me the opportunity to complement my scientific skills with strengthened skills in quality management which could be applied to my every day work situation.

What was Cranfield's impact

The course is very well structured and each module offers both the ability to learn new theory and techniques, and carry out an in-depth assignment. In addition the wide-range of topics covered in the modules has provided me with a broad foundation in quality management. I studied together with a very active and engaging group, from which I have established several new professional contacts.

After completing the MSc I changed career path to become a Quality Management System (QMS) consultant, offering QMS advice, auditing and implementation/improvement services to a wide-range of industries.

I was very pleased and honoured to receive the ‘Best Student Prize for MSc in Quality Management in Scientific Research and Development’. The group with which I graduated had a great depth and breadth of experience to which I could only aspire. I learnt a lot from them during the course of the MSc, all of which helped me in both the module assignments and research project.
