  • 5th in the UK for single-campus programmes
  • Best in the UK for female faculty (single-campus programmes)

Cranfield School of Management’s Executive MBA  (EMBA) programme continues to climb the ranks in the latest Financial Times EMBA ranking. The programme has risen four places to 72nd globally (up from 76th in 2023), marking an improvement of 25 positions since 2022.

Cranfield’s EMBA is ranked 5th in the UK for single-campus Executive MBA programmes and remains the only ranked programme in the UK that can be part-funded via the apprenticeship model.

One of the standout achievements this year is the recognition for gender diversity, with Cranfield’s EMBA ranked best in the UK for single-campus programmes for female faculty, boasting a higher percentage of female faculty (41%) than any other UK institution.

The programme also saw a significant improvement in career progression, jumping 30 places to 51st in the world, a testament to the strength of Cranfield’s industry connections and its ability to empower graduates to accelerate their professional growth.

Executive MBA Course Director, Dr Ioannis Koliousis, commented: "The Financial Times Rankings confirm for another year that we are among the top-tier Business Schools in the world, which is a testament to both the collective effort and the unwavering commitment of our team as well as the excellence and the progression outcomes of our alumni.

This recognition not only reflects the quality, relevance, and impact our programme brings to senior leaders but also inspires us to keep delivering world-class education and empowering our learners to reach new heights.”

The rankings reflect the world-class quality of Cranfield’s expert academic staff and of the input from Grant Thornton, which co-delivers the programme. They have jointly developed an innovative teaching programme that is not only grounded in academic excellence but also closely aligned with the needs of industry and evolving business practices. Students on Cranfield’s EMBA benefit from outstanding academic insights combined with practical, real-world applications of business knowledge.

Cranfield School of Management, in partnership with Grant Thornton, was the first UK business school to offer senior leader apprentices the opportunity to continue studying and build a pathway through to an Executive MBA qualification.
