Cranfield’s presence in China is well established, thanks to a longstanding partnership with global innovators Henkel. Spanning 12 years, the Basics in International Management programme was designed specifically for Henkel and delivered in Shanghai, as well as Germany and the USA. This fully customised programme was created to support participants’ career development; focusing on the development of international mindset, strategic thinking and financial understanding.


Operating in 33 countries worldwide, subsea engineering, construction and services company Subsea7 has benefited from a bespoke leadership development programme, delivered in Australia, to support their strategic goals in serving the offshore energy industry.


Since 2014, Cranfield have collaborated with Atos; one of the global leaders of digital services. With employees in seventy-two countries, serving a global client base, Atos participants travel from all over the world to partake in Cranfield’s Programme Manager Masterclass. This bespoke programme is delivered in France and Germany, using a Grounded Experiential Learning approach. Programme completers become key drivers of change in the organisation.


Etisalat Nigeria is the country’s fastest growing mobile network operator with over 22 million subscribers. In order to ensure cultural and regional alignment, Cranfield has successfully partnered with Lagos Business School in the development and delivery of the Pathways Leadership Programme. This bespoke intervention equips participants to assume greater and higher levels of responsibility and has embedded a culture of sustainable, innovative growth.


Cranfield University, working in partnership with Qatar Petroleum and Mercuri Urval, has delivered two inter-linked leadership programmes for more than six hundred middle and frontline leaders. This bespoke programme has shifted their internal culture by creating greater collaboration across the business.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Cranfield is supporting The Human Resources Development Fund in KSA on its mission to develop and increase the employability of the national workforce in the private sector. Cranfield has been instrumental in enabling HRDF leaders to achieve their strategic objectives, providing social security and economic benefits for the Kingdom.

In addition to the regional delivery of executive development programmes for HRDF, the Cranfield Saudi Executive Advisory Board was established in 2019; bringing together highly recognised executive leaders to drive, challenge and energise Cranfield University’s strategic direction in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This initiative will fuel the development of industry-led programmes in the Kingdom, ensuring sustainability and provision of high quality, affordable and relevant life-long development opportunities to future leaders in line with KSA Vision2030.
