Empowering development in the Middle East region

Expanding the reputation and success of organisations in the Middle East.

For organisations looking to expand beyond their borders, our business growth, entrepreneurship and executive level leadership development makes a powerful impact.

In support of nationalisation strategies, our customised leadership development programmes help to enhance the capability of talented nationals. Cranfield’s expertise in talent management and development has enabled organisations to engage, motivate and retain individuals with high potential.

By providing programmes in the Arabic language, presented by Arabic facilitators, Cranfield is bringing our learning capital to the Middle East region; delivering challenging and impactful learning that resonates with nationals.

Creating a country based executive board of leading thinkers

We supported the creation of an Executive Board within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing together a talented group of leading thinkers and influencers within their field of education. This board is proving to be instrumental in shaping the vision and direction of learning and development in KSA, and this is reflected in the success of the country in meeting its ambitious visions for the future.

The creation of further Executive Boards in neighbouring countries will ensure that national experts can exchange knowledge and ideas with Cranfield faculty – collaborating to create long-term benefits for the people.

We have a wide range of experience within the Middle East:

HRDF

Delivered in various locations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, this customised program for the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) began in 2019 and has so far supported over 2500 participants, via over 100 interactive programs and expert panels. Over 50% of the cohorts are delivered completely in Arabic. This nationally important development program is having a direct positive impact on the Saudi government’s aim of increasing the number of talented Saudi nationals employed in the Kingdom’s private sector.

QatarEnergy

Cranfield University, working in partnership with QatarEnergy and Mercuri Urval, delivered two inter-linked leadership programmes for more than six hundred middle and frontline leaders. The program led to a shift from operational to strategic thinking, greater empowerment and engagement of subordinates, increased collaboration across the business which generated financial returns, and enhancement of the Qatar Petroleum brand. Following their rebrand, we have just completed the successful delivery of a Mid-Level Leaders program with QatarEnergy to nearly 100 Mid-Level Leaders resulting in excellent feedback, tangible examples of participants successfully applying their learning, and public commitments from every single participant to continue doing so.

Delivered in highly participative face-to-face workshops, both programs are already gaining high recognition for the talented individuals taking their new skills back into the business.
