ScottishPower provides scholarships covering tuition fees and living costs for postgraduate studies at universities in the United Kingdom.

Applications will be accepted from students undertaking master's courses in subject areas related to renewable energy and engineering.

What it covers

Scholars will benefit from:

  • Payment of enrolment costs for the university;
  • A monthly payment of £1,200 per month;
  • Company mentor;
  • Assistance with identifying an industry-related project to assist with their academic studies;
  • Exciting career prospects.

Who can apply

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, students must be planning to undertake studies in a master's course in the following specified knowledge areas:

  • Electrical/mechanical/civil engineering,
  • Renewable/sustainable energy,
  • Onshore/offshore renewable engineering,
  • Environmental sciences/climate change,
  • Global energy management,
  • Computer science and software engineering,
  • Cyber security and information security,
  • Big data analytics and data science.
