Payroll and pensions
Please complete the below bank details form and starter checklist and return to our Payroll and Pensions team at payroll@cranfield.ac.uk as soon as possible prior to your start date.
If you are eligible for the USS pension scheme (level 5 and above/research staff level 4 and above) please review the below USS guide and salary sacrifice information sheet.
You will be sent an email from our IT Service Desk that will provide you with an invitation to register for a Cranfield IT account (or merge an existing one). Once you have registered, you will be sent confirmation of your username, email address and password to enable you to log in on your first day and access your email, our intranet pages and any folders or systems you require for your role.
Cranfield campus information
When you are on campus, you will need to obtain a Cranfield ID card from Main Reception (Building 26). Please bring a form of photographic identification with you.
You may also need to visit the IT Service Desk (Building 63) to have your ID card activated for use on our multi-functional printers on campus.
Cranfield Defence and Security information
When you are on site, you will need to obtain a staff and vehicle pass from Main Reception. Please bring a form of photographic identification with you.
Staff joining from overseas
If you require a letter to enable you to open a UK bank account, please email people@cranfield.ac.uk (if you are based at Cranfield) or people.shrivenham@cranfield.ac.uk (if you are based at Shrivenham) to request this and include your UK residential address.
