Background

Before embarking on his PhD journey with Cranfield School of Management, Yinka obtained a BA in Business Management from the University of Lincoln, UK and an MSc in Supply Chain Management and Technology from the Ramon Llull University in Spain. Yinka has over 15 years of experience working in Global Supply Chains and, in addition to holding roles in several multinational companies in Spain and the UK, has served as a strategic partner for companies in Germany and Belgium looking to source raw materials from Africa. Yinka is a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, UK( CILT), Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), and holds a European Senior Logistician certification( ESlog) from the European Logistics Association (ELA).

Research opportunities

Yinka's research focuses on Supply Chain Resilience within Logistics. His research interests cover the role of Logistics within Supply Chains, Supply Chain Disruptions in Logistics Operations, Risk Management in Logistics and Resilience Building Capabilities of Logistics Firms. Focusing on resilience within Logistics, he contributes to the academic discussion of end-to-end Supply Chain Resilience.
