Background
In his career Richard has raised in excess of USD165m in sponsorship revenues whilst working with a total of nine F1® World Drivers' Champions including Niki Lauda, Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna, Damon Hill, and Michael Schumacher.
Specialising in the fields of 'creating and maintaining high performing teams', 'effective leadership' and 'managing change', he has delivered in excess of 250 keynote speaking sessions for over 170 leading companies around the world.
Richard also founded and runs a PATL Formula 1 based performance programme in Melbourne for Metro Trains in addition to his global speaking and coaching commitments. He has been awarded membership of the prestigious Professional Speaking Association and Global Speakers Federation.
Current activities
An international renowned speaker and business coach, Richard benefits from extensive experience in the world of Formula 1® motor racing and International motor sport, having held senior commercial positions with the McLaren, Arrows and Williams F1® Teams, the Le Mans and Daytona winning TWR Jaguar sports car teams and between 2001 and 2004, administering the British Touring Car Championship.
He combines his experiences with examples drawn from three editions of his co-authored business books 'Performance at the Limit - Business Lessons from Formula 1 Motor Racing' and his award winning BBC World eight-part series 'Formula for Success' for which he acted as series consultant and co-presenter.
