Contact Professor Shaun Tyson

Background

Shaun is Emeritus Professor of Human Resource Management. He has experience of human resource management in the public sector and private sectors. He holds a PhD from London School of Economics and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts and a Member of the British Psychological Society. He is also a member of the Association Française de Gestion des Ressources Humaines and was awarded a Doctorate (honoris causa) from the University of Lyon. He was a Visiting Professor at the University of Paris for 5 years, and is currently a Visiting Professor at the University of Westminster. He has written 21 books on human resource management and has published extensively on human resource strategy and policies. He has carried out consultancy assignments and research with a wide range of public and private sector organisations in the UK and overseas. He Chaired the Remuneration Committee of the Law Society for 5 years. He broadcasts regularly on industrial relations and people management issues.
