Background

Göran is a Visiting Professor at Cranfield's Centre for Business Performance. He holds an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Management Consultancy from Henley Management College, Henley-on-Thames, England, an MBA in Strategy from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France and a MSc in Engineering Physics, Chalmers University of Technology, Göteborg, Sweden. He has held management positions in both American and European firms and have lived in Sweden, Norway, Japan, France and US before moving to England.

Göran has founded or co-founded, managed and in some cases successfully divested 15 companies during 20 years. The companies have all been knowledge based and have had or have domicile in UK, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Australia and the US. He is one of the founders of the modern field of intellectual capital and have published books, articles and case studies on the subject as well as on the wider subject of strategy. Göran's consulting experience in this field ranges across both public and private sectors in over 40 countries.

Göran holds academic positions at Helsinki School of Economics' Centre for Executive Education in Finland and Mt. Eliza Business School in Australia. Göran has previously held positions at the Norwegian School of Management, Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania and the Institute for Policy Science in Japan.

Göran's principal interests lie in helping clients extracting more value from their intangible assets.
