Background

Ailsa has more than 20 years of consulting experience, with a focus on leadership development, team development, organisational change and coaching programmes. She has worked with clients globally across the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Europe, the US, and the UK. Ailsa has strengths in designing and delivering solutions across a range of blended platforms. She is also a highly experienced group facilitator, coach, and workshop presenter.

Her clients have included Centrica, BAE Systems, SRM, Urenco, Qatar Foundation, QatarEnergy, BBC, Atos and Aon. She has previously worked with NHS/Academic collaborations, electronic gaming, oil and gas, banks, insurance, pharmaceuticals and retail.

Ailsa joined the Cranfield Faculty having been a member of Associate Faculty for 5 years and has worked on a range of projects. She has previously held consultancy positions with several organisations creating solutions, designing, delivering and co-ordinating programmes. Before taking a consultancy role, Ailsa held a leadership position in Eli Lilly and Company with responsibility for leadership development, talent development and all aspects of training. During her career she has held positions in various organisations as an engineer, manufacturing manager and learning professional.

Ailsa received her MBA, a BSc (Joint Hons) in physics and geophysics, and a PGCE in physics and PE from University of Newcastle upon Tyne, and she also holds a PhD in physics from the University of Durham. She has a CMI Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring and is qualified in BPS Level A and B test administration (16PF and MBTI), Roche Martin Emotional Capital Report feedback and coaching, EIP Profiling (Talogy) and Hogan Suite.
