Background

Throughout his professional career in sales positions, Colm has worked unceasingly to build relationships, up-skill and adopt best practices to enhance himself, his organisation and his clients experience. Colm holds to solid personal values which centre on truth, receptivity to new ideas and experiences, the value of the individual and cooperation with others.

Colm has had the privilege of working in the Print & Graphic Design, FMCG, Aviation, SaaS and Engineering industry's alongside talented individuals, in both small-to-medium enterprises and multi-national organisations.

Colm has completed a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in the University Of Limerick which was a most rewarding, challenging and stimulating experience. His masters thesis explored the topic of B2B demand generation utilising LinkedIn.

Colm has a BSc in Transport Operations & Technology from Dublin Technological University, and a BEng in Road Transport Technology & Management from Limerick Institute of Technology.

In summary, Colm's career experience has enabled him to develop a robust general management and sales skill-set encompassing Sales and Marketing Strategy, B2B Sales negotiations, Presentation delivery, Relationship Building, People Management, Business Planning, Financial Reporting and Target-achievement, to mention a few, through an entrepreneurial, evidence-based, "can-do" mind-set.

Current activities

Colm is currently undertaking an executive Doctorate in Business Administration at the School Of Management (SOM) at Cranfield University.

His research explores the use of Professional Social Media in B2B Selling to achieve revenue growth.
