An international collaboration, led by METU Environmental Engineering Department (Dr Yasemin Dilsad Yilmazel) where Cranfield University and GTE Environmental Services, are project partners and Sütaş Group. The aim is to investigate the production of high-value products from wastewater which leads to significant environmental problems when not treated. Within the scope of the 2-year project, we will conduct research on the use of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) compounds, which can cause various operational problems in biogas plants, for production of “Struvite”, a valuable fertilizer.
