Announcing the programme of speakers, Dr Ana Soares, Senior Lecturer in Biological Engineering at Cranfield University and Chair of the Organising Committee, said: “Water professionals are being asked to think more creatively and move innovation to full-scale implementation at an unprecedented rate. They face multiple challenges, ageing infrastructure, the fast growth of urban centres, the need to develop sustainable solutions for rural communities, the reduction of quality water sources and variable weather patterns leading to severe droughts and floods.”

“LET2019 will give water professionals, from the UK and across the world, the opportunity to hear how leading technology is being deployed and implemented to solve these challenges.

“The key to the success of the LET conference series is the excellent scientific programme that has a blend of academic research and implementation of novel technologies. We are delighted that this year’s LET is once again attracting key water professionals and stakeholders from around the world to deliver what we hope will be an inspiring and memorable conference.”

The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) engagement has accredited the LET2019 as a continuous professional development (CPD) activity.
