Background

Uchechi is a researcher at the Centre of Energy and Sustainability within the School of Water, Energy, and Environment at Cranfield University. She holds a Bachelor's degree (B.Eng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master's degree (M.Eng) in Electrical Power and Machines, both with outstanding performance, from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU).

With a strong background in both industry and academia, Uchechi brings a wealth of experience to her current research. She has three years of experience in substation maintenance with an electricity distribution company and seven years of experience in academia.

Uchechi's research at Cranfield University focuses on bio-inspired designs, electrical machines, thermal management, power system design and structural design optimisation. Her work aims to advance sustainability and efficiency in engineering, addressing key challenges in these fields.
