Background

Nicolas started building his academic background at Polytechnic University of Valencia, where he completed a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering. He spent the final year of his bachelor's degree on an academic stay at the University of Bristol as part of an Erasmus scholarship. His last studies date back to 2022, when he graduated with an MSc in Thermal Power from Cranfield University. Nicolas is currently undertaking a part-time PhD at Cranfield University, focusing on liquid hydrogen (LH2) modelling methods for two-phase cryogenic hydrogen flows–an activity he undertaked whilst working as a research assistant.

Current activities

Nicolas works as a research assistant at the Centre for Propulsion and Thermal Power Engineering in Cranfield University. His research focus on numerical analysis for two-phase cryogenic hydrogen flows for their application to aicraft fuel systems.
