Background

Lucie received an MSc in Multidisciplinary Engineering from Mines Douai, France in 2015. Following this, Lucie gained industry experience by working as a packaging engineer for three years before going onto to volunteer at a non-profit organisation in the United States.

Lucie then began an MSc in Water and Wastewater Engineering at Cranfield University, sponsored by Anglian Water (2019-2021). Her 16-month MSc research, conducted in collaboration with PWN, focused on the prediction of organic matter and inorganic ions removal by ion exchange at reduced regeneration frequency.

Lucie has returned to Cranfield University to pursue a PhD in Water Chemistry.

Current activities

Lucie is currently a PhD research student within the School of Water, Energy and Environment at Cranfield University. Her research focuses on the role of ozone and granular activated carbon for the removal of micropollutants.
