Background
Katherine Stewart is a PhD research student on the Collaborative Training Partnership for the Fruit Crop Research (CTP-FCR) programme. She is conducting her research between NIAB EMR and Cranfield University.
Her project focusses on understanding ascospore production within the apple scab fungus to optimise the methods for scab management in orchards.
