Background
Dr. Wen-Chin Li holds a PhD in Aeronautical Decision-making Training from Cranfield University. He is a Register Member of Ergonomics Society, and Aviation Human Factors Specialist of EAAP.Wen-Chin currently is on the editorial board of the International Journal of Aviation Technology, Engineering and Management and Aviation Psychology and Applied Human Factors. He is on the program board of the International Conference on Engineering Psychology and Cognitive Ergonomics; and Technical Committee on Aerospace Human Factors and Ergonomics of the International Ergonomics Association.
Current activities
Dr. Wen-Chin Li is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Air Transport, Cranfield University.
Dr. Wen-Chin Li is an Aviation Human Factors Specialist of European Association of Aviation Psychology (EAAP) and a Fellow/Registered Member of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors Society (FCIEHF/C.ErgHF). He won the prize for the Award of Excellence of 2007 International Society of Air Safety Investigators (ISASI) Seminar in Singapore, and the Best Paper Award Winner of Aerospace System Group of Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) at 8th International Conference of Naturalistic Decision-making. Dr. Li had published over 100 journal articles, conference papers, book and book chapters regarding Human Performance Assessment, Aviation Safety, Human-Computer Interactions and Human-System Integration Design.
Wen has particular experience with Multiple Remote Tower Operations, Single Remote Tower Operations and Contingency Remote Tower System Design and Certification, and Human Factors Training. His research projects involve multiple stakeholders, including frameworks for Irish Aviation Authority (IAA), Ports of Jersey, Civil Aviation Administration of China, and ICAO. Wen-Chin also chairing over 20 paper sessions on international conferences related to Aviation Safety and Human Performance and served as program board of international Aviation Safety committee.
