Dakun Chai

Background

Chai obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees in Computer Science from the University of Jos, Jos, Nigeria and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, respectively.

He is presently a doctoral student at the Centre for Computational Engineering Sciences. His current work looks at developing novel deep-learning methods and approaches and their applicability in aerospace and other areas.

His research aims at gaining insights into the extensive unstructured data for making informed decisions.

Chai is under the supervision of Dr Irene Moulitsas and Dr Stuart Barnes.

Research opportunities

Chai is interested in conducting academic or industrial research when the opportunity beckons.

Current activities

Chai is currently a PhD student at Cranfield University.
