Background
Adam received an MEng in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Liverpool. He joined Cranfield University as a PhD researcher in 2023. His research focuses on reduced-order rotorcraft engine geometry modelling and installed performance analysis.
His works aim to support the preliminary design development of engine geometries by creating a rapid modelling and performance analysis capability. This method will predict how the helicopter engine architecture will behave upon installation on the fuselage throughout the operational envelope at the preliminary design stage for the first time.
Adam’s PhD research is fully funded by and carried out in collaboration with the UK Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL).
