The Venkatesan “Prab” Prabhu Endowed Memorial Scholarship is available to Indian students for postgraduate master’s study onto either Aerospace Vehicle Design MSc or Aerospace Dynamics MSc. The award is for a full tuition fee scholarship for either of the eligible courses.
Prab pursued his love for learning and teaching by pursuing degrees at the University of Mysore (B.Sc. Physics & Math 1960-1963), the Indian Institute of Technology (B.Tech. Electrical Engineering 1963-1967), and the Indian Institute of Science (M.E. Aeronautical Engineering 1967-1969) before starting his MSc in Flight Controls at Cranfield University.
The Venkatesan Prabhu Endowed Memorial Scholarship was established in 2021 by the Prabhu Family to honour Prab and add to Prab’s ‘global family’ by supporting a student from India who is seeking to study abroad, as Prab did 50 years ago. The endowment fund that supports the scholarship will ensure a lasting legacy and will ensure Prab’s life and spirit lives on for eternity.

A panel will consider applications for the scholarship award during June and you will be notified of the outcome of your application by the end of June.
