Our Singapore-UK Jet Zero workshops are funded under a Science Innovation Fund Strategic Programme under the joint UK-Singapore Green Economic Framework and supported by the British High Commission in Singapore. This enriching and engaging event will comprise a set of three workshops, focusing on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), hydrogen and policy ambitions.
- Sustainable Aviation Fuel Workshop (25 March 2024): seeking to tackle the challenges around technology, capacity and capability, the availability of feedstocks and the supply chain system.
- Hydrogen Workshop (26 March 2024): challenges on developing the hydrogen economy, and the hydrogen supply chain for aviation. The workshop will cover the state-of-the-art technology and its potential capacity and capability.
- Policy Ambitions Workshop (27 March 2024): both countries (Singapore and the UK) are explored and mapped onto existing and future SAF and hydrogen technological capabilities.
The workshops will be in the format of an open, roundtable event (study workshop), in which the above topics will be discussed, after an opening presentation by the organising team on the intent, format and expected outcomes from the discussions.
