- Graham Mills (MBA 1983) has been appointed as Commercial Advisor at award-winning spinout from the University of Oxford, Quantum Dice. He will be working to revolutionise quantum random number generation for enhanced cybersecurity.
- Francisco Jiménez Sirvent (MSc Engineering and Management of Manufacturing Systems 1998)has joined the executive leadership team of IVI-GeneraLife to help coordinate the merger between two Spanish assisted reproduction companies.
- Mark Beaver (Business Growth and Development Programme 2015) reveals his most painfully acquired insights on entrepreneurship, crediting Cranfield’s Business Growth Programme for helping him to increase his company’s revenue by 100% and employ more than 100 employees.
- Ahmad Lawan (MSc Applied Remote Sensing 1991) is featured in this article alongside other Senators-elect in the race for the Senate presidency.
- Dinesh Dodamgoda (MSc Global Security 2004) explores arguments both for and against the Government’s Anti-Terrorism Bill in Sri Lanka and whether it is possible to find equilibrium.
- Soneet Kapila (MBA 1978) has been appointed as President of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) for a one-year term.
- Steve Mason (Sales Directors’ Programme 2011) has joined ITE as the new Managing Director, Head of Aviation. He will oversee the firm’s aviation team and lead all aviation-related investments for ITE.
- Yolanda Portillo (MSc School of Engineering 2012) will oversee the operations centre of the network manager Eurocontrol (NMOC). As head of the centre, she will develop processes and procedures in line with defined safety and quality stands and drive and participate in the strategic evolution, development and planning of future systems.
- Catriona Laing (MBA 1996) has been appointed as United Nations Special Representative for Somalia and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM).
- Liz Aluvanze (MSc Air Transport Management 2014) has been appointed as the Director of the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority.
- Ashitey Trebi-Ollennu (PhD at Shrivenham 1996) shares how he helped design and fabricate a robotic arm that will deploy vital instruments and probes on NASA’s InSight Spacecraft researching Mars.
- Michael Wagner (MSc Postharvest Management 1991) has been confirmed as IVA President for another two years. He has held the position since the beginning of 2022.
- Christopher Brennan (PhD School of Management 2005) has been appointed as Vice President of EMEA Sales. He will lead Skyhigh Security’s business across the region, including adding and expanding relationships with local and regional customers and partners.
