Dr Aaron Costall – Senior Lecturer in Electric and Hydrogen Propulsion – has worked across the automotive industry on clean engines and boosting. He currently leads Cranfield’s automotive hydrogen propulsion work.

Dr Glenn Sherwood – Lecturer in the Advanced Vehicle Engineering Centre – has been leading the research into the use of hydrogen in internal combustion engines (H2ICE) with industry partners in static power generation and both on-road and off-road transportation. Dr Sherwood has spent his career in industry and academia working on combustion flame characteristics and emissions, and worked on the BMW's first GDI engine.  

Visiting Professor Matthew Harrison MBE completed his PhD in Engineering at Southampton in 1994 and has since held a number of senior posts in education and engineering. He is a Visiting Professor at Cranfield University and has taught acoustics, vehicle dynamics and automotive powertrain design at MSc level for 25 years.
