• Job title Managing Director
  • Organisation Oakdene Hollins

Why did you choose Cranfield?

Simon Pollard and Andy Angus first introduced us to Cranfield University. And since then we have met several other academic staff in several disciplines. As managing director, I rely on my colleagues to represent the business, develop proposals for our clients and to project manage delivery of the work. This includes innovation projects, market evaluation and management of services through the web sites we service such as European ecolabel, European remanufacturing council and uniform reuse.

We offer an annual Oakdene Hollins prize at Cranfield University and contribute to student learning where ever we can. The university has a leading position in the Circular Economy and resource efficiency so we have recruited successfully over several years and plan to continue to do so.
