What was Cranfield's impact

On the top of all the knowledge in marketing, strategy, finance etc…, if I had to choose one skill it would be team work. Working on projects within a team and under time pressure was the perfect way to acquire important skills for my current role: project and time management – people management – working under pressure… Also, the various assessments, such as the business plan, the business project, and the final thesis were also extremely valuable for my current role. Finally, the fact that the students were coming from various backgrounds and different cultures made my year even richer, as I learnt a lot about them too.

The Careers Fair was a real plus in my studies; as it helped me defining and clarifying my career objectives. I found the Careers Service people extremely helpful, their help in writing CVs and letters and their continuous support in the application process were precious and invaluable. I believe that every university should have a similar Careers Service. The Careers Fair really opened my eyes to what I could do, and on how marketing can differ between companies, and even within one company. The company talks and the careers fair unconsciously prepared me to apply to marketing roles.
