The areas of research within the Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management (CLSCM) attracts annual funding in excess of £500,000 through research council, government and industrial sources. We perform a variety of research from long-term, research council funded projects which focus on the generation of new knowledge to dedicated, industrially funded work that addresses specific needs.
Within CLSCM we also have the Agile Supply Chain Research Club (ASCRC) which was founded in 1998. The aim of our ASCRC is to improve supply chain management by creating a collaborative forum where member companies and Cranfield University faculty can share knowledge and experience on promising supply chain practices.
The Cranfield School of Management and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) have teamed up to form the Centre for Strategic Procurement and Supply Management (CSPSM). With a commitment to improve the practice of procurement and supply management, the Centre has been established to:
- Deliver quality, research-led executive development procurement and supply activities.
- Provide world class linkages between business, academia and the profession of purchasing and supply.
- Doctoral Opportunities are available within the Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
- Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) are a UK-wide programme enabling businesses to improve their competitiveness, productivity and performance. Partnering with us at CLSCM enables you to access skills and expertise to help your business develop from Europe’s leading centre of excellence in the field of logistics.
