In a celebration of his outstanding contributions to the field of logistics and supply chain, Dr Lorenzo Prataviera has been honoured with a well-earned place on the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport's (CILT) esteemed "35 Under 35" list for 2024. The annual recognition, launched in 2022, highlights young professionals who have demonstrated exceptional talent, leadership, and innovation within the logistics and transport industry.

Prior to joining Cranfield University School of Management in September 2021, he had been lecturing and undertaking research on logistics, supply chain management and industrial engineering at Politecnico di Milano (Italy) since May 2016. From September 2018 to February 2019, he also held a position as Guest Researcher at Lund University (Sweden). His main research interests are in the field of global distribution network design, taking a multidisciplinary attitude to go beyond conventional logistics boundaries and examine the fiscal and legal challenges resulting from cross-border logistics.

Commenting on this achievement, Lorenzo said “I am extremely proud to have been included in the CILT 35 under 35 list, as this acknowledges the contribution offered to the logistics and supply chain sector but also the impact that our Centre continues to have in the UK and overseas”.
