Background
Simon Annan is a doctoral student at Cranfield University, UK and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), UK. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in Strategic and Project Management from Paris Graduate School of management, France, Professional Diplomas in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) , a Chartered Member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CMILT), UK and a certification as a Project Management Consultant and Fellow from Institute of Project Management Professionals, Ghana and has attained Fellow status of Ghana Institute of Procurement and Supply.
Simon is a passionate Procurement and supply chain expert with over twenty years' experience spanning a variety of industries. He has held several senior management positions as Head of Procurement and Supply Chain Management with various organizations such as Standard Chartered Bank, Ghana, Ecobank Group, AGAMS Holding, Ghana National Household Registry under the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (World Bank Financed Project) and Heritage Bank Ghana Limited.
Currently, Simon is the Procurement Consultant for Public Financial Management Reform Project (PFMRP) under the Ministry of Finance (World Bank Financed Project) and consults for many organizations. He serves on Entity Tender Committees for several Public and Private Organizations spanning a variety of industries including Financial Institutions, Energy, Aviation, Education, Telecommunications and Construction.
