Background

Shogo is a passionate logistics practitioner. He has devoted his time for a Tokyo-based 3PL service provider owned by his family. He has consistently put efforts to make the operation more efficient by eliminating MUDA(Waste) from logistics operations, designing effective supply chain, and proposing KAIZEN (continuous improvement) based on hands-on experience and knowledge. He always passionately introduces logistics GENBA management to the world. Shogo is a Cranfield University MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management graduate.

Research opportunities

Outside of business, Shogo’s research interests focus on investigating the role of AI for warehouse design.

Current activities

He is currently developing international logistics and freight forwarding business based in Tokyo.
