Contact Hanifa Umar


Hanifa joined the Centre for Strategic Marketing and Sales in 2019 as a Business Administrator.  In this role she manages a diverse collection of projects specifically in areas of budget management, university rankings, faculty teaching loads, teaching credits, quality control of teaching resources and report-writing. She is also responsible for the Centre’s Visiting Fellow and Recognised Teacher Status process and provides support to the data management of contacts from the Marketing Alumni and Cranfield Management Forum network.

Hanifa has graduated with a Psychology BSc from the University of Bradford and is proficient in quantitative and qualitative research skills, particularly within Social Psychology. Her professional career includes industry experience within business administration, customer and sales management, volunteer management, finance and budgeting.  She has worked for the British Red Cross Refugee Service, Estee Lauder, Origins and Quiz Limited. She is passionate about community engagement and was an honorary assistant psychologist from a private neurological centre and has volunteered for MIND and the YMCA. Presently, Hanifa is part of the Outreach team within the Step Up working group, the network supports woman across the University with developing their skills, career and confidence.
