Contact Hanifa Umar


Hanifa joined the Centre for Strategic Marketing and Sales in 2019 as a Business Administrator.  In this role she manages and contributes into a diverse collection of projects specifically in areas of the Strategic Marketing Forum, centre budget management, university rankings, faculty teaching workload management and the visiting fellow and recognised teacher status process.

Hanifa graduated with a Psychology BSc from the University of Bradford and is proficient in quantitative and qualitative research skills, particularly within Social Psychology.  Her professional career includes industry experience within business within customer and sales management, business and finance administration and volunteer management across the private, public and health sector.

Presently, Hanifa is part of the Step-Up committee, the network supports woman across the University with developing their skills, career and confidence.  She is also part of the University's EmbRace Network Committee, where she volunteers to raise awareness of race/ethnic diversity and identify actions, contributing to shaping the strategies associated with Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).
