Geraint’s leadership and management experience has been gained over thirty years in a variety of commercial organisations, primarily within an IT environment, across a variety of sectors such as; business services, commercial software, construction and civil engineering within companies that ranged in size from start-ups, mid-sector through to international organisations. During his career Geraint has successfully undertaken roles that include Director of IT, senior management and consultant during which he has worked on assignments in strategic IT and business development and organisational change. In addition to delivering business focused solutions he specialised in developing individual leadership and team performance. Prior to joining Cranfield Geraint was for a number of years the Managing Partner of a company which designed and delivered a range of leadership development solutions, such as bespoke blended learning programmes or executive coaching, in response to the specific needs of client organisations. These solutions were based on the principles of andragogy and grounded on a rigorous theoretical and research base that combined to offer leadership development experiences with clear practical application.
Geraint's primary area of interest is the development of strategic leadership behaviour and thinking. He has practical leadership and management experience of working in a range of organisations and sectors coupled with a track record in the design and delivery of leadership development programmes and services.
