Background

Dr Rebecca Jarrett FCIPD is a Senior Lecturer in Human Resources and Business at University of Worcester. Rebecca has lecturing experience at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive level. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Cranfield University, where her research explored the construction of the “ideal academic worker” and the relationship with individuals from underrepresented groups in UK universities. Rebecca is a doctoral supervisor, and her research interests focus on inclusive organisational practices, including recruitment and selection.

Dr Jarrett is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and brings extensive senior HR and leadership experience across public, private, and higher education sectors, including consultancy. Her professional career spanned the UK, Australia and North Africa. In addition, Rebecca has held board level roles with not-for-profit organisations.

Prior to commencing her doctoral studies in 2019, Rebecca gained an MBA from the University of South Australia in 2013. Her first degree is an MA in Languages (Interpreting and Translation) from Heriot-Watt University.
