Aerospace supply chain partnerships: The realities of inter-organisational power regimes.
Core competencies strategies have been central to the evolution of the commercial aerospace and business aviation Industry since the 1980s fundamentally changing the nature of aerospace supply chains and importantly the embedded inter-organisational relationships. Today, do aircraft manufacturers and operators have the power to manage and control their now integrated, global, and political supply chains? Is power used effectively? Are inter-organisational relationship management styles aligned to the prevailing power regimes and supply chain strategies? To begin to answer these important questions, one must first understand how power manifests itself across commercial and business aviation aerospace supply chains.
Deborah's research seeks to unearth how power manifests itself specifically across vertical risk sharing partnerships, a key structural component of modern commercial aerospace and business aviation supply chains.
